Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness

The Student Pathway Advisor works with students to explore different career opportunities and help students to develop the skills needed to be successful. Whether going directly to the workforce, attending college, or joining the Armed Forces, students will receive targeted support from our SPA.

The Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness Coordinator assists students with developing a plan for specialized skills development and career training The PWR Coordinator helps students to get started on career training while still attending Eastlake. Training available at Eastlake High School includes specific CTE classes at Eastlake, opportunities to take courses at Pikes Peak Community College, or training through various technical schools in the area. Assistance with military enlistment and four-year college admission is also provided.

For students that are looking for work during their high school career, we can help with job searches, resume writing, and interview skills. We continue to support students with job retention skills as well as working with employers and students to maintain a balance between work and school.
