I believe that every student here at Eastlake High School is a scholar and I am here to remind them of just that. My experience with working with students from all walks of life has prepared me for my role as a student success coach and mentor. As an educator I want scholars to know that it is never too late to rewrite their story.
My name is Aja'Dae Trent and I have spent most of my educational journey transforming my relationship with education. As a first-generation student and alumni of Pikes Peak State College (PPSC), my story encompasses one of grit and resilience. I have learned that no matter what happens, you are the one to make it happen. I chose to go higher and transferred to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) obtaining my bachelor's degree in Women's and Ethnic Studies (WEST). Here I learned what fuels my passions and desire for knowledge.
Currently, I am a graduate student at (UCCS) working towards my master's degree in Leadership with a concentration in Student Affairs in Higher Education. My journey throughout education has shown me that relationships and representation impact the way scholars see themselves and their ability to learn. Here at Eastlake High School, it is never too late for students to transform their relationship with education and rewrite their stories!
