MYTH: Eastlake High School is not a real high school.

MYTH: Eastlake High School does not offer rigorous academics.
FACT: Eastlake offers a challenging curriculum in a program designed just for you.

MYTH: An Eastlake diploma is not equal to a traditional high school diploma.
FACT: Fulfilling graduation requirements at Eastlake earns a high school diploma.

Eastlake High School adheres to the graduation requirements approved by the Board of Directors and outlined in the Student Handbook. We actually offer 3 graduation tracks. It can take as few as 32 credit hours to complete your high school education here. Our accelerated program allows you to focus on the essential courses you’ll need to achieve your goals. You can even get a head start on your college education through Dual Enrollment at Pikes Peak State College.

 

MYTH: Eastlake is a last resort for high school learners.
FACT: We’re the first choice for many learners who are looking for a different option.

According to a study conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics, students who attend high schools like Eastlake are more likely to graduate than their peers who attend traditional schools. Researchers attribute this to the more personalized learning experience offered. We’re still enrolling students for the 2024-25 school year and invite you to join our school community now.
